The COVID-19 PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) test is basically a diagnostic test that looks for the presence of SARS-CoV-2 virus and tells if a person is currently infected with the virus. We supply RT-PCR (real-time Reverse Transcriptase PCR) test kits which have received Emergency Use Authorization from the FDA. The PCR testing is intended for use with upper and lower respiratory specimens, and our test kits are intended for use by laboratories certified under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) to perform high complexity tests.
